At Casa Shalom, we have so many ways that you can be a part of our team and a part of the blessing that God is working in the lives of our precious children. If you want to be a prayer warrior, please use this website to get to know our children and our needs. If you want to come and serve for a few weeks, we have lots of opportunities that you could come here to Guatemala and help us out with. If you want to just give a financial gift, we have lots of bills that need to be paid with it. The bottom line is that if you have a heart to help us out, we can help you find out where on our team you can fit.

Ways that you can help:

  1. Our number one need is prayer. Without prayer, none of this would be possible. We recognize that we can have all the supplies in the world, all the people in the world helping out, and millions of dollars, but if there is noone praying to support us spiritually, everything will fall apart. We recognize that it is through our faithful prayer warriors that our needs are met each month and that it is also through them, that the children are experiencing His grace and mercy and living the abundant life Christ promised. (John 10:10)

  2. With Casa Shalom growing at the pace it is at, we are in need of house parents for our precious children. Our style of ministry with the children is one of a family environment and that means that parents are needed. We currently have 5 different groups of children (based on age and sex) living in their own seperate houses. (see our childrens home page)

  3. Bring a team to Casa Shalom (construction or ministry). There is always a blessing that comes when a group arrives at Casa Shalom to minister to our children. There is something about a team that expresses the love of Christ to our children in a unique way. It does not matter if the team comes to build, paint, teach, or just simply serve...the result is always the same! Please visit our Mission Teams page to learn more.

  4. Support a child. Along with caring for over 60 children at Casa Shalom, we also have many more come to attend our school from the nearby villages. Only some of the families are able to pay some of the cost for their children to be in school, but not all. Supporting a child can help us keep them in our school and pay our teachers. You can also choose to support one of our children if you would like.

  5. We at Casa Shalom are also in need of your financial support. As more children arrive to live in our home, our financial needs also go up as we need to provide more food, clothes, medicines, etc. Your Contribution to Casa Shalom provides God's love through the people who live daily with the children, education, food, medical care, a home, HOPE!
